Gold medal for Florian at CYBATHLON 2020

The CYBATHLON 2020 Global Edition ended on November 14. 51 teams from 20 countries competed against each other, with the pilots solving everyday tasks with the help of state-of-the-art assistance systems. Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, the teams fought for victory for the first time in separate places and at different times. Apart from the winning teams, the greatest attention was paid to technological progress, which also promotes social inclusion.
Our pilot, Florian Hauser, successfully defended his title against worldwide competition at the Cybathlon 2020. He mastered the wheelchair excellently over the entire obstacle course and won superiorly with a lead of more than one minute. We all, pilot and team are proud and happy.
In the exoskeleton race, our two pilots Rolf Schoch and Thomas Krieg delivered a photo finish: both had faultless runs and personal best times. With this strong performance they finished sixth and seventh. Congratulations!

We are already looking forward to details about the next Cybathlon, which has been announced for 2024.
